We use hairbows and sometimes just plan bands. Sometimes we get the "visor cut" above his eyes - with this cut, their hair is still long, but not in their eyes - you can pull the hair on the top of the head up or leaving down without hanging in their eyes. I think I was once told that boys could wear red, blue and/or black bows, but I don't know if there is a proper color or not. (well, not pink of course)!
