Went to the vet, and Tilly has Coccidia. All things considered, this isn't the worst news.
She is on meds now and she just had her first poop since her first dose and it wasn't diarrhea! Lol
I am a little confused though and a little annoyed because i'm getting conflicting info.
One source will say that it is only contagious to animals and another will say it is contagious to both animals and humans. I don't understand. The vet said it was contagious and to clean etc. So tomorrow i am buying a steam cleaner to make sure our carpets are immaculate. But as she was saying this, the vet tech was allowing Tilly to lick her face and the vet also didn't seem overly concerned. She just said "dont eat the carpet and wash your hands".
So...I just want to know for sure here lol it is confusing that no one seems to know.
