It is a day by day job with a lot of patience. Now these Yorkies are smarter than we think. When one of my boys has an accident, I get mad and they see my face and they know what I am mad at. I never hit or hurt them but just the tone of your voice and they go hide under the table. Be firm, and consistent and of course patient. She is smart and will learn.
Accidents will happen, this am one of mine peed by the washing machine. I have a husband upstairs fighting a kidney stone so I wasn't happy to see that pee! |
