Since last night she has done really well. I've been having her in the crate, letting her out to pee/poo, then having play time for a bit, then back in and repeat. If she doesn't pee/poo then I put her back in the crate for 5-10 mins and repeat. I can tell she needs a lot of repetition...and i'm not too used to that but i'm learning.

Keep kenneling her, take her out of her kennel when you know she has to go. Place her on the pad and when she walks off pick her up and put her back on, over and over till she goes telling her to "go potty". If she hasn't gone after 30mins put her back in her kennel.
By kenneling her and then letting her run the kitchen your not being consistent and your confusing her.
It may seem like your being mean but puppy's need consistency. Sorry to say but its not the dog fault. |
I live in an apartment and can't take her outside every time she needs to go potty. I agree, I was confusing her! Poor Tilly. And I never said it was her fault?
