 Shelter woes
I considered a shelter search but it is most important that I know the entire history of my next family addition. I will only buy from a breeder where I can see that their pups have been home raised and cared for and also see one or both of the parents. My Lil Sophie that I had to put to sleep last month had a lot of physical problems. In investigating her background, I am quite certain she was a victim of a puppy mill. I never want to encounter the heartbreaking consequences by chancing another uncertain puppy history. Although I am still grieving my loss, I want to take time to find the "right" breeder in my selection and not rush into just any available puppy. |
