If you don't want to test to find out for sure, I am not sure the breeder can say much. I suppose you can mention it, but not sure what he/she will say about it. Maybe guess about what it is??

There is a way to tell and no one should breed a dog that is suspected of any such issues.

No one can tell you anything about progression without an accurate diagnosis.
