Hello!
So my husband and I recently got our first little baby since moving away from our families!
She is a Yorkie/Maltese mix and is 11 weeks now.
We've been training her to go outside only and crate training for short outings. However once or twice a week we will be gone longer than 2 hours and so we let her roam the kitchen with a baby gate and put down a pee pad. I am returning to school in September and so she will be left alone for about 3-5 hours each day... I was just wondering how long it usually takes these small dogs to figure out asking to go out in these circumstances. Sometimes I've caught her pacing at the door and have taken her outside and she's gone, but she's never made any type of noise yet when she needs to go. I realize she's still little though
