 flea and tick prevention
I have a question what is everyone's regiment for flea and tick control and heartworm prevention year round? I use to keep my yorkies on revolution and then I heard people say that it doesn't work very well for fleas and ticks even though I never had an issue with it. Then this summer I tried the K9 advantix ll and some of my yorkies got extremely itchy and red skin so I am no longer using that product anymore. I don't know if I want to go back to the revolution or not. I was also considering the sentinel spectrum if anyone has had positive feedback from that and keep them on that year round and just find something to cover ticks in the summer? I dont want keep them on flea and tick year round but I would like to find a good product for heartworm and parasites. Also do the oral meds for heartworm and fleas have the same effectiveness as the topical revolution? Thanks for any help. |
