Poop eating is fairly common but it can be a real problem for some. If it gets to be a big problem there are additives you can add to her food that will make her not want to eat her poop.

It would be good to let her eat the dry kibble if she likes it. As for if Royal Canin is a good food, it is just a matter of opinion. Some people don't like it because it has corn in it. I would leave her on the puppy food until she is at least a year old.
