My Hugo is very demanding. He does the same thing, he sits in front of me (or on me) and barks or whines at me until I play with him. Or he'll sit in front of a toy and whine until I pick it up. He's the same if he wants to get in a room that's closed or on the sofa (he wants to be lifted onto it even though he can get up perfectly well when I'm not there). It's cute but I think it's because I give in too easily and do whatever he demands. I just can't resist his little cute face
