Hello and welcome to YorkieTalk. It think there is a very good possibility that Daisy will have 7 or more puppies again. It is the female that determines how many pups she will have. The size of the male has nothing to do with that.
As you know, large litters require a lot of work. It sounds like she did well with her first litter. I am sorry you lost the little one. Eclampsia is a big concern with big litters so be sure she gets plenty of food and a good calcium supplement after the pups are born.
