Good for you DFDUB for taking an interest in showing and asking good questions. You already got some great advice from some people on this site. I have been learning a lot. First of all, its not easy to show a yorkie, thats for sure. Its really fun, and working with your dog will only strengthen the bond you have. My advice would be if you do decide to show your buddy is have fun and don't worry to much about the outcome. Worry more about the process (coat care, socialization, and the skills you need to show your dog.) If you take care of the process, the results will come. Study the breed standard. Find a mentor. Take some comformation classes. Go to shows as much as you can.
