They have breakaway cat collars that a lot of people use or like in my case I keep it lose enough she could slip it off if she got caught. She is a big jumper. My mom does the same thing with Sammy and he gets into everything. The only thing he has had problems with and got his tags stuck on was at my aunts house when he was hot and laid on the floor vent his tag went down between the grates and when he got up the vent went with him but we have floor vents at my house and it has yet to happen. I like the jingle of the tags to let me know where she is. They say lots of lost dogs never find there home because they are not wearing a collar with a tag. When Callie was a puppy and would dart out of the door and we had to chase her through the neighborhood that what would happen if she got out of my sight and I lost her in the neighborhood and she had no collar or tags. I want to make it very easily to return my dog to me if she got out. I have also heard that like in states where they have tornados that they have a lot of lost dogs and dogs go missing when a tornado comes through during the day when damage happens to the house and the dog gets out.
