My yorkie does not have mega esophagus, but I had a min pin who did. It is not a good condition. I used a baileys chair for my little one, but I made it myself. They just need to be in an upright position. I used a new rectangular plastic garbage can about 2 feet tall. Then I stuffed towels around the inside so there was just a hole big enough for Chloe to fit it. I hand fed her canned dog food with a spoon with her head tilted up so the food could have the best chance of going down. After she finished eating, I would hold her on my shoulder (like burping a baby) for about 15 minutes. We had her looked at by all different kinds of specialists (actually one of them gave me the idea for the chair). We dealt with mega esophagus for a year and then it became clear that little Chloe just wasn't enjoying life anymore and we new it was time to say goodbye. I hope this helps you somehow. Good luck to you and your little one.
