 Skin Problems
I have a 5 year old female yorkie. She had no problems until she reached the age of 4. She now suffers from horrible skin problems. Her fur is very oily feeling, she has terrible sores all over her little body even down her legs into her feet. Her skin in places has turned brownish/black. We have been back and forth with the vet. We have used atopica and apoquel to deal with her skin problems. No success! We have changed from Royal Canin Yorkie food, which she has eaten her entire life, to Kangaroo food. I have 3, believe it or not, other yorkies that do not have any skin problems to date. Has anyone else had success in dealing with these kinds of skin problems? I need help! Frustrated!! |
