You aren't alone! Many of us here have pups with pancreatitis, my Uni included. Every dog is different, and their triggers are all different. I found Uni's trigger is lamb. I switched her to a different food with lamb and she got it. Her levels were pretty high (amalyze, sp?) and had bloody diarhea for almost two weeks. She was about 3 yrs old at the time and actually a bit underweight.

This past Jan she got another bought of it, but not as bad, but I don't know what the trigger was. No lamb.

Now I don't switch her food. She's on duck and doing well on it. I give some treats such as tomato, cucumber, lettuce ribs, fruit pieces, greek yogurt. Sometimes I will give her boiled chicken breast but I don't cook chicken often so don't have it in the house usually.

Just be careful of any fatty and/or salty foods; steak, hamburger, bacon, sausage, hot dog, etc.

Reread your post: you have to feed her dog food, even if she's picky. She needs to have a balanced diet, and only chicken won't cut it. Some do home cooked food, but must be discussed with a dog nutritionist first.
