19 weeks is still very young. Kenzie is a bit larger than the other girls so she potty trained pretty easially. I took her out every hour for quite a while and now that she is a year , I have learned her que that she wants out. All dogs go outside here approx. every 1 1/2 to 2 hrs anyway.
Tilly is pretty tiny at 4lbs and has a bladder the size of a green pea. She doesn't stay in her crate unless we leave the house. There is always a potty pad in there and if she pees or poos there I am thrilled and do a happy dance,better there than my floor. She is now 7mos and as she has gotten older she has gotten to where she will ring the bell or walk circles in her crate if she wants outside,I can hear the crate rattle. She is actually using the potty pad less and less as her own choise.
Mina is 3yrs old. When I brought her home at 13 weeks I thought that she would use potty pads because she was trained to them by the breeder. UM no,she saw the other,older dogs go outside and that is the way it has been. She pottied in my house maybe 3 times and it was always because I was late letting the dogs out. The other dogs are older and will wait.
