The bad breath would be from teeth issues - if you just had them cleaned and breath is still stinky, I'd be heading back to the vet. Raw food isn't going to cause bad breath.
If you've been feeding raw for 20 days w/out a problem and then vomiting occurred, I wouldn't really be inclined to think it was from feeding raw...I'd be more inclined to think he has a stomach bug/gastritis.
