But...she is a very stingy eater. The breeder had her eating Purina dry puppy food. Which she loves. But I want to switch her to the Blue Buffalo small breed puppy food which she will not touch.
I've tried mixing it little at a time, wetting it with warm water, even mixing it with the formula replacement.
I understand that she is so young to be away from her momma, but I assure you all that we are taking the best possible care of her  which is why I prefer her to eat the healthy food! So what should I do? Just continue with the old food? Or keep trying to mix it? |
Have you tried mixing it with wet food? Lexi could not resist wet food. I mixed it with her dry in the beginning until she got a little bigger. Once she was bigger, I cut out the wet. Of course, she wanted nothing to do with the dry, but eventually when she got hungry she would eat it and now she eats it with no problem. I also feed BB puppy.
