Thank you for your well wishes everyone.
Jenna was a bit flat this morning but we were up late last night watching her and she finally had some very wet kibble mash at about 2 a.m. She was obviously hungry as she's never snatched it from my hand before.

But today she's a bit subdued so I got her to eat another plateful of mash and then gave her the amox drops and metacam prescribed for her. She went out for a walk and a wee and is resting now. But she rubs her face on her blankets from time to time or tucks her head underneath one of her plushies and I know that means she's still uncomfy.

She definitely hates the stitches. We'll both be glad when they are gone but I think that takes two weeks for them to dissolve.

She just perked up when she smelled the egg sandwich muffin I brought into the room with me to eat while I sit with her so she's interested in food, which is always good. I just wish I could give her some of it! (I won't of course.)
I'm mostly glad at this point that the metacam and amox don't seem to be affecting her tummy adversely, she's had so many problems with medications before. And of course she's watching me like a hawk because I left her at the "bad place" yesterday, but though normally she follows me from room to room whenever I move, today not so much and that speaks volumes. She just doesn't want to shift about much at all.

She goes for walks well though. She went too far on last night's walk and tired herself out to the point of shaking, poor thing. That's why I was so glad to see her eat. But we're taking it easy for at least the weekend to keep her from exhausting herself.

Really do hate dentals.
