Revolution has heartworm meds, so it's not recommended to split the dose.
You can however split doses w/frontline or advantix or any other topical flea+tick med. It's the same potency in the larger sizes...there's just more of it. IOW (in other words), there's more volume, not more concentration.
Just make sure you store the left over in an amber glass vial, away from direct sunlight, preferably in a cool dry place. You can get the small vials from a place that sells essential oils or from a beauty supply.
I've been doing this w/frontline plus for 7 years. My furry butts never had a bad reaction to it. I use a syringe (w/out the needle) to measure out the exact dose. |
