At eight weeks they can't chew hard food too well yet. Make sure you mix in some water with the dry food to make it soft and add a teaspoon full of wet dog food. I make the days worth in the morning then refrigerate and take out for each meal and microwave for about 9 sec to take the chill off. Here is my receipe: 1/4 dry food, 1 tablesp wet and add about two tablespoons water, stir/shake. Seal the container and refrigerate. As they get older and have more teeth you can make it drier and cut the wet food u til eventually go all dry. I give mine (12 weeks) the dry kibbles as treats and put a wee bit in the bowl between meals so they have access to food all the time.
