I use the CET rawhide chews.....always when the kiddos are supervised, and I buy the giant size....these things ar 3-4 inches wide and about 6-9 inches long. No fear of them getting the thing wedged in their mouth. I watch them chew on the ends and when the ends get chewy and slimy, I take kitchen scissors and cut that off so they are back to knawing on the hard part. Just read somewhere, bad reviews on Greenies. I dont like my dogs ingesting stuff that I use for knawing/teeth cleaning. Reminds me of us eating our toothbrushes! A neighbor was giving her pup Greenies...her kids were feeding those things like they were candy treats! Pup ended up with bloody diarrhea and some intestinal lacerations from eating Greenies! |
