I always, always make sure I come home w/ pain meds and a pain plan (ie, what if meds not managing pain, what then?) after any intervention. It's okay to ask/insist on it w/ your vet

It's amazing how fast they snap back, isn't it? Don't worry about the anesthesia...you absolutely did the right thing in getting this done and your kiddo did great!
