Was she on cortisone? in this article it is one of the causes. I know I took cortisone for my knees for a while and it caused me permanent issues. I would see an Orthopedist as soon as possible as it says the treatment options are dependent on the progress of the necrosis. I hope the outcome is good. |
No she wasn't on anything before the problem started. I was reading up on it too and the article I came across said vets don't really know what causes it and that it's seen mostly in small breeds and that they think it could be hereditary. Yes I'm going to get her to that specialist as soon as I can. Thanks for the support.
