Firstly - I don't know whether you can - but might be best to check that the paint's lead-free? I know that sounds a bit dramatic - but do you remember all the to-do over here years ago?
When you take her to the beach - do you carry her there? Just wondering if the pavement/sand is ultra hot, and maybe she goes into the sea to cool her paws down?!!?
Also, is she drinking loads/more than usual? She might be taking in too much salt when she guzzles away at the sea...wondering if a few ice-cubes in her normal drinking water might help?
My goodness, they're trouble-makers aren't they....?!!?
