Hi! This is my first post, as I don't have a yorkie yet but am going to be getting one within the next few months.

I am finding it difficult to know which breeder to go with... I live in Toronto, Canada, but am moving to Winnipeg in September. I will wait a few months and get settled in before getting a yorkie.

The only person I know who has a yorkie got it from Thundering Hills Yorkies in British Columbia. I absolutely love her yorkie (have babysat many times), and she recommended the breeder to me, but I have heard some suspicious / sketchy things about them from other breeders / when I searched online. Has anyone here heard of them?

Or can anyone recommend a good breeder in Ontario, Canada? That way I could maybe visit them before I move, and then come back to pick them up in a few months.

Any other tips / advice on knowing which breeder to go with when there are so many would be greatly appreciated!
