They really do snap back fast, it's amazing. He will likely be groggy the first nigh home. MAKE SURE you come home w/ pain meds and give them, no matter what. He should be okay alone the next day...I'd put a onesie on him so that he doesn't lick the incision. Neither of my boys bothered their incision at all though, so we didn't even need the onesie.
