I have seen many dog strollers in the malls near us. Also when I'm traveling. I think it's easier to have access to malls plus protects ones dog from being handled by strangers. In cities such as NYC, there's alot of pedestrian traffic, a small dog is easily stepped on and also doesn't have the stamina for all the walking, hours at a strectch if visiting. I remember years ago seeing a Yorkie in a baby stroller(didn't manufacture doggie ones then) in San Diego. The owner, a frail woman (about 60, not old) used it for her own support. She refused to use a walker after a stroke and wouldn't leave her home, so her children bought her a gorgeous Yorkie (retired breeder) and a baby stoller. We saw her out early mornings before too hot and always stopped to talk and admire her dog. She was so happy to interact with people. I thought her grown children were wonderful. Jessica
