all my past girls loved the water, I had a big kiddie pool, they would be in it all day, I raised them from puppies, so as lil babies they were use to lakes, pools & swimming. I adopted Cody almost 9 months ago at the age of 2 1/2 y/o he turned 3 in March, it's a bit harder introducing an older dog to new things like swimming pools or lakes. I got him a little kiddie pool just to see if he would go in water up to his knees, he did, so I was confident he wouldn't be scared in deeper water. He came from NYC, he's never been in any body of water, but he is fierce, bold and brave lol, the water was COLD lol, but I think the next time we visit if I am in the pool he will come with no hesitation, now he knows the pool and he cannot be 2 feet away from me. I just want him to enjoy the water and swimming. I always got so much pleasure watching my girls play in the water, I use to call them water buffalo's lol.
