I would be very concerned about the blood in the stool.

Can you share with us what type of treatmeant your Vet did for the dog? Did you have to provide a fecal sample? Did the Vet do a blood test?

I am not a medical professional but I do not think overfeeding would result in a bloody stool. Maybe someone can advise me differently.
