I feed mostly grain free, with some exceptions (just nothing with corn or wheat, but rices and oats are ok). Use wellness core kibble/can. So far not so bad. Granted it is puppy formula, so I have to expect it to be a bit richer and fattier. ^^; But my dogs (both pup and adult) seem to do well on it :3
