You are a true dog lover! I am married to a CHP officer and I know that anytime a police officer does a good job and gets an atta boy in writing that really is appreciated. You should definitely let his office know what he did. I am so proud of you for rescuing a dog that could have been dead from a car. I always stop and try to rescue a stray dog.
