Yes, look under pet photographers on Google for your area, call and question them about how they work, hours, equipment used, etc., or call your local toy dog boutiques and groomer/clothing/supply shops and ask them if they know of a respected and talented pet photographer who does holiday themes and you should be able to score a few reputable names. I prefer to work from referrals myself as you usually have the luxury of others' experiences to go by.

PetSmart, Petco and other big pet stores usually have pictures with Santa in December, too. Below is a link to an ad I saw on Google. Also, buy a newspaper a few weeks before the holiday and look for ads for any stores or businesses that are booking pet photographers for that holiday. Good luck!
