Thank goodness Abigail weighs only 4 pounds. If she was a bigger dog eating crab it would cost a lot more money. She has been on many different diets before her dx because her sister Olivia has severe allergies to everything in the environment plus possible food allergy. Whatever we tried we fed both of them. With lymphangectasia Abigail needs to eat a low fat diet with a novel protein. She has eaten most proteins in her life so the vet nutritionist said crab would be a good choice. We first tried cottage cheese, then quinoa. Both worked for a few months but then her albumin began dropping again and she lost weight. Crab was our third choice and so far she has done well.
