Hello to all! I’m a newbie from Finland – English is not my native language, so please excuse my not quite perfect grammar.
6 months ago my firm opinion was that any dog smaller than a cat is not a proper dog at all (please don’t give me the “evil eye”

). Then I met my uncle’s Yorkie Jehu. We went to visit and as soon as I got through the door Jehu greeted me like a long lost friend. When I sat down, he jumped on my lap and started kissing my face with his little tang. I fell in love. At 6 pounds he is smaller than most cats but he is full of energy and joy and most definitely a proper dog.
I had been thinking about getting a puppy for quite some time, but before this spring my life was too hectic to really go forward with the puppy plans. I like most dog breeds, but I especially love terriers, so I was thinking West highlands white terrier or Cairn terrier but after meeting Jehu I knew it had to be a Yorkie.
This little boy here (I hope you can see the pic) is our new baby Watti. He is 5weeks old in this picture and still with his mom and sister. We went to see him last week for the first time. He seemed very happy to be held and play with me, while his sister had no interest in me at all. He is so tiny! He comes from a reputable breeder and will be registered to Finnish Kennel Club.
