First, I will start off by saying I am not an expert by any means. Others may have more experience with this.
It could be the Alpo. I do not think Alpo is a good quality food. I once started adding Ceasar wet food to my pups dry because she was getting picky. I thought, I know it's not high quality, but it's just a little added to her good quality dry. Well, 2 days later she had diarrhea and threw up (regurgitated) in her crate at night. The next day she still had runny poop so I stopped giving her the ceasar and bought a high quality wet food. After that she was back to normal. Also, I know from experience that if you start mixing in wet and try giving just dry more than likely they will not touch it in the hopes of getting the wet mix again. |
