If he was not weaned to kibble, he may not be eating enough of the kibble to keep his sugar up. It could be hypoglycemin, since it responded so well to food intake, but you need to have pup vetted for what is going on to cause this in yopur pup. It may not be hypoglycemia, so you need to have a diagnosis and treatment plan. If he scarfed down the wet food, I would be sure he has a canned puppy food available....I use Royal Canin puppy mousse, and then progress through their weaning formulas. As long as he is eating well, you should not have to worry about supplementing him with a sugar and vitamin source, like NutraCal or NutraStat....if this is a low blood sugar issue at all. Get a diagnosis to be sure what you are dealing with. I would be calling the breeder you bought the baby from and give them a heads up.....that you will be having the baby vetted and you will be in touch.
