So she's still there They would not let me see her, not sure why because they used too. All they would tell me is that she is still there. They act like it's some big secret now & they never used to be that way, in fact I have had numerous owners call me Thanking me for rescuing their dog after I have taken them to the shelter. The lady didn't want to take my # to give to the owner if they come for her ???? I told her Oh that's nice , you will not let me know how the dog is but you have no problem giving the owner MY info. She tried to tell me they DON"T do that, huh. I asked her then where are these people getting my phone # ? Well I can tell you that they are thy ONLY way these owners could possibly get my info after I rescue it from the streets & take it to the shelter. I decided to run a LOST ad in the news paper after I came home from the Shelter today, but it will not start till tomorrow & run for a wk. The Vet came out while I was talking to the 2 women at the front desk & wanted to know how I caught her.. After I told her the story she I think deliberately in a round about way let me know she IS still there. She also informed the other 2 women that there is nothing that says they can't give the dogs owner my info. I just laughed & said Yeah, I thought so. So the Vet told me that she will see to it that IF the owner comes for the dog, the owner WILL get my info. I pray she gets to go home & I want to talk to the owner so that I can get their address & phone # and the dogs name, so if she gets out again then I can catch her myself now that she's trusting me. Then I can call them myself & not need to have an Officer out for 3 hrs waisting his time.. Monday will be the end of her HOLD so I will go then to see if she's still there. IDK what I'm going to do if she is as I can't keep her. I'm going to start searching for a Pit rescue in my area tonight just incase. This little Pittie Girl needs some serious prayers.
