The problem could of been brought on by a number of things or it cold be a inherited disorder. You might want to ask the vet for any suggestions. It is something you don't see often in yorkies but it can occur.

I hope you can get it figured out. I know it can be frustrating.

Our little Rin has Seborrhea and she also gets oily fur and a somewhat "doggy" smell. The vet prescribed Douxo Shampoo and this helps somewhat with the oiliness. But really, I still have to bathe her every week (whereas my other Yorkie can also go two weeks between baths).
