I think Dr. Becker's videos & articles are very informative & educational. She believes that raw food is a biologically appropriate food for felines & canines. She also advocates minimal vaccines & going the holistic route when it comes to the well being of pets.
As for Ann's questions whether if I think it's a good video for 'intro' for raw food. I do not know. I only feed premade raw & have little to no experience feeding a BARF or PMR diet. But I do think Dr. Becker explains in detail how the species appropriate diet works, handling of raw food, the safety issues & controversial myths of feeding raw food in her videos.
There's many people that feed kibble topped w/freeze dried raw & their pups do perfectly on it. Some feed kibble for 1 meal & raw for the other, some mix, some don't. I think it all depends on how your individual dog does on the diet. |
