I talked with the neighbor and did an experiment. I let Lexi go up to her dog and she did great, if I picked up Lexi or held her back from the dog her would start going crazy and growling. I realized all along she just wanted to play and was barking and growling because she was being held back. Also, Lexi will get protective of me if she is sitting with me and a dog comes up to us, but if i put her down she is fine. |
I don't pull her back, when we're walking and someone brings their dog to see Lexi then I let Lexi go see them but then when the other dog goes near her face to smell Lexi snaps at them and makes like a yelp as if shes hurt. She does that all the time I dont know why. Whenever she sits on me and another dog comes around me she snaps and barks at them and growls so I put her on the ground and say a firm no, she's still not learning though.
