I've been feeding raw for about 6 years now and really love it. I use the pre-made raw by Primal, or Nature's Variety. Do you want to feed pre-made or are you talking Prey Model where you feed bones w/ the meat still on them?

Yes, you can feed raw and non-raw together, the stomach does not know the difference...it merely knows if something is a fat, carb, protein, or toxin etcetera.

Many raw feeders start their dogs as puppies - so when you start is really up to you and what you feel comfortable with. My Wylie was about 2 yrs old when he started, Marcel was 10 mths old, and then when we got Pfeiffer she started raw when she was about 14 weeks old.

For treats, I give different chews like Beams from Honest Kitchen, Munchy Stix, CET chews, and RMBs (raw meaty bones).
