Wow...Your story brought tears in my eyes. There are some people who just do not need to have animals. Three to fours hours later you would have thought the owner would have been looking for their dog. I commend you and the officer....there are some that would not have done what you did especially because of the bad rap that pit bulls get all the time in the news. That poor dog was hurt, scared and who knows what else. However, she was very smart and trusted you to help her. I hope she is ok and doesn't have any bad injuries. If you go and see her tomorrow and she is still there can you update us on her? It is such a touching story!
