Well he didn't actually end up being the only Officer here last night & I was Not impressed with the other one and since I called Dispatch, it's on record. Do you still think I should run the Public Thank You to him ? I would really hate for anything to bring attention to the Chief & then the next time I NEED help I may be stuck. Believe me when I say THEY FIND ME. They seem to know my address & make & model & license plate # of my van, not to mention the big neon sign over my door that says SUCKA lives her this is the place, that only they can see, lol. I swear, I don't care if it's an injures Dog, Cat, Bird they ALL find me. Anything that will cost me a Fortune to fix, they fine me. Why is this ? Today was a full house day for me with my Daycare & I didn't get to go to the Shelter to check up on her BUT tomorrow I am deff going to check on her. I am worried they mark her as a vicious dog and she's really not, she's just a little scardy cat. She is around 3 or 4 yrs old & just a little thing @ around 40 lbs, jet black with some white on her chest & on the tips of a couple of her toes. Even when she was talking ugly to me I could still read her beautiful eyes & they were telling me that she really didn't want to bite me. The worst part for me was her voice, she was growling through cries & I have never heard a dog do that and I mean through, not between. She broke my heart & I can't stop thinking about her & her future. I think she was hit by a car as the limp was very bad & the fronts of both of her front legs had road rash. Then when she jumped in the truck & tucked her head under my arm, I lost it. I felt like a rotten biotch for betraying her trust. OMG now I'm bawling again, I may have to go do a jail break tonight, UGH. Maybe her stupid owner bailed her out today, UGH. This was not an accidental outing either as last wk our worthless AC officer was across the street trying to catch her & what a joke that was as I watched him for at least a half hr & he never got out of his truck. If he comes to a call & the dog barks or growls at him, he WILL NOT get out of his truck. I have rescued many dogs & they spend the night in my basement & in the A.M. I call for a pick up & when he gets to my house, if the dog appears fearful of him at all, he has ME put the dog in the truck. I need to go apply for his job. Needless to say he never did catch her last wk.
