Sophie Kate chewed like a mad woman when she was a puppy, I had to replace the base boards in the dinning room and there still isn't a TV remote in our house without teeth marks.
She outgrew it finally but I had to keep her crated when I was not watching her. Also had to give her designated chew toys (Nyla bone). Lesson I got from her trainer is a bored dog is a destructive dog, I needed to give her something to occupy her mind.
