I am so sorry to read about your friend, Lynzy. How tragic for the entire family who must now bury their loved one when they should be celebrating the start of a new life.

A license is a good start, but there is more you can do. If you have an advanced directive, it could be noted there. Talk to your family and friends and let them know your wishes. Tell them why it's important to you. If they don't know or they don't agree they can override your wishes, even if it's stated on your license.
