As a child I always vomited in my fathers car (a Bentley, with a very smooth ride) but was correspondingly unaffected in my Uncle's, humble entry level Ford. The vision line in the latter was lower and I could see and react subconsciously to the cars movements, as bits dropped off along the way.

In contrast my fathers car was similar to what I imagine the experience of being inside a padded concrete mixer, with blinkers on resembles! I remember as I grew, moving up the windscreen, an inch at a time rather like a surfacing submarine!

Crystal becomes emotionally perplexed on a humble kitchen chair, when I slide it across the floor if she's still onboard. My Ford owning relatives, had a mini Doxie, another breed to whom elevated vision was not a prime design feature. She however was never ill traveling, spending her time either on the rear shelf, or in a little across chest 'pooch-pouch' knitted by my aunt, a real innovationalist for those days (50's).

In both locations 'Minnie the Dox' could see without straining and spent at least half the journey times dozing quite peacefully. As my father never gave Minnie the opportunity to fetch up on his blue Connolly Hide, I can't substantiate my locational theory from personal experience!

I've noticed some elevated 'Solvit Tagalong Booster seats' being offered on Ebay, here in the old country at a real knock down price. Lets assume their 'kosher' and not from some backstreet in Blamwhambang, they seem well worth bidding on?

I wondered if anyone here has tried out what seems a jolly good idea to me and if so, what the results revealed?
my Sophie is a year old and got carsick for at least 6 months, until I got her a elevated seat, now she can look out the window and she is fine....
