Glad you found the solution…it's like when you get see sick below the deck but your fine when you are on the deck of a ship. Yes they need to be able to see!
I have had many small breed dogs, all raised by me as puppies, they were always in the car and never got sick. This lil boy was 2 1/2 y/o when I adopted him, I have to assume he didn't do much traveling in a car. The first 6 1/2 months I had him he only went in the car to go to the vet, poor thing would vomit 3 miles after being in the car. I have this booster seat almost 2 months, we are in the car 3 or 4 times a week, when I tell him "Cody goes bye bye in the car" he runs to where his harness is all excited now, before he would hide under the bed. I am sooooo happy he now loves the car and no more car sickness, he sits in his seat looking out of the window like a king sitting on his throne looking out over his land lol. To bad I have to keep my eyes on the road and not him, I love to see him enjoying the car now.
