Default Organ Donation

I just want to remind people how important Organ Donation is, live or upon death. It is easy to become a donor by contacting your States DMV, or when you renew your license or by contacting your doctor.

There are so many people in need. My dear friend passed away yesterday, leaving behind her husband, daughter and newborn son. She suffered complications during childbirth (HELLP) and was awaiting a liver donation....sadly it was not meant to be. She never got to hold the son she was so happy to be having. In addition to that the world lost one of those rare people whose vivacious smile is all you can think of when you think of her, she was a positive person who never said a bad word about anyone, she was truly one of those one of a kind people you meet so few of in this world...we've lost so much..........

The last time I was with her was at work, we went for a walk for about an hour, when we were getting off the elevator she saw someone she knew I was going to lambaste for something and pushed me back on the elevator and my scarf got stuck...we laughed like teenagers......sadly hours later her fate took a different turn than the one we just discussed in detail....

I guess this is the only way I can really do something...Please sign up for Organ Doantion living/or upon death....I know there are people dying while they are waiting.....I've lost a dear friend and the world truly lost a truly valuable citizen, she was a doer, an advocate and dearly loved.
